Hello,
I'm Dr. Flynn Vick. Thanks for checking out Elite Chiropractic. I'm thrilled to be a part of the Coeur d' Alene community taking care of great people in such a beautiful place. I was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana, before moving to Coeur d' Alene the summer before my junior year of high school. I attended college at Cascade College in Portland, OR where I played basketball and met my beautiful wife Theresa.
My graduate school days were spent in San Jose, CA at Palmer College of Chiropractic West, one of the most highly regarded chiropractic institutions in the world. I attended Palmer's west campus specifically to pursue my passion for sports medicine and caring for athletes of all types . While in school I had the opportunity to treat professional athletes, weekend warriors, big shots and babies. Some of my favorite events included the Corona Wide Open beach volleyball tournament in Santa Cruz, U.S. Half Marathon in San Francisco, Escape from Alcatraz Triathalon in San Francisco and Susan G. K Komen breast cancer awareness walk for the cure.
Graduating from Palmer in March of 2013 led me to my first job back in my hometown of Bozeman, Montana. I worked in a group practice with some fantastic doctors and great staff and was afforded the opportunity to continue working with athletes as the trainer for Manhattan Christian school. Additionally, I worked as a volunteer for multiple local races, crossfit competitions and high school tournaments as medical staff.
In an effort to stay at the front edge of conservative and sports related medicine I have remained active in pursuing further education. I am now certified in Graston Technique, Select Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), RockTape, KT Tape, Diagnostic Ultrasound and have achieved the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) credential. This advanced certification will allow me to enroll in a program to work with Olympic athletes at the United States Olympic training center in Colorado Spring, CO which has been a goal of mine since high school.
My wife and I have two of most fun loving little guys on the planet, Rory (8) and Kamden (6), who are a blessing everyday. In September 2017 we had our third child, a beautiful baby girl named Avery. My family and I love playing in the water, hiking some of the great trails in North Idaho and Montana and sledding when the snow flies. Thanks again for checking out Elite Chiropractic!
